Parents and bowlers-
The JDRF Bowl-a-thon is approaching fast. If you have your team together please forward it to me. The names of the bowlers are what I need. The teams will bring in there donations the day of the tournament. Here’s the additional help the team needs to make this a success.
1. We will be running a bake sale table so I need baked goods and bowlers/parents to sell the goods.
2. Donations for door prizes. If your place of employment would like to donation prizes that would be helpful please let me know. Example Palace will be donating logoed coasters and t-shirts.
3. Bowlers/Parents to work the t-shirt sales table.
4. Bowlers/parents to work the 50/50 drawings.
5. Lanes monitors to make sure the bowlers have fun and everything they need.
Thanks in advise for all your help and support of this event.

Dear Warhawk Bowling Parents:
Thank you all very much for all your help and support making the Kick-Off Tournament at the Palace a great fundraising day. The team raised just under $1,000.00 with the bake sale and the cut of the gate and t-shirt sales. It's a great feeling as a coach to know that I have all this parental support. So once again thank you, thank you, and thank you!
The JV bowlers were a great help. We asked that they come and help and cheer on their varsity team members and they did all of that and then some. So, thanks to the JV bowlers for their help and support.
Now on to what is coming up this week. Our schedules are full again. We have practice Monday, matches Wednesday and Thursday, team pictures on Friday, and a Tournament in Cincinnati Saturday.
A packet of information about the Cincinnati Tournament was sent home with your bowler Friday. If you have not seen it please ask them for it.
One final note, the boy's team (qualified 4th and) placed 7th and the girls (qualified 3rd and placed) 6th in the Kick-Off Tournament. Mary Wells was fourth on the (Girls) All-Tournament team. This is a great start to what I am sure will be a great season.
Thanks again,
Coach Wells
